web site has been operating as a production information system at Duke University
Medical Center since 2000 and has been under active development since 1998. It is

MAW3TM
represents an expandable, customizable medical document management system that facilitates
the mangagement and maintenence of electronic files and records related to health
care data. It employs multiple layers of security to ensure that all activity is
appropriate and secure. Patient data confidentiality and institutional security
is a primary focus.
MAW3TM
is a
solution comprised of selected computer hardware and peripherals (such
as web and database servers, barcode scanners and printers) and client-server software.
